HYALFID®

HYALFID® GEL

OPHTHALMIC SOLUTIONS FOR HYDRATION AND LUBRICATION OF THE SURFACE OF THE EYE

DESCRIPTION

Hyalfid® and Hyalfid® gel hydrate and lubricate the ocular surface, offering a long-lasting relief from the signs and symptoms of Multifactorial Dry Eye. In particular, Hyalfid® and Hyalfid® gel are ophthalmic solutions with hyaluronic acid sodium salt (FHA 1.0®) and amino acids, aimed at complementing tear secretion and restoring tear film physiology.

Hyaluronic acid is a mucopolysaccharide physiologically present in the human eye and has the property of adhering to the surface of the eye by protecting and lubricating it: thanks to its mucoadhesive properties, it remains on the surface of the eye for a long time and stabilises the tear film. The amino acid formulation also helps lubricate the surface of the eye and improve the protection of epithelia subject to various kinds of stresses.

Furthermore, Hyalfid® and Hyalfid® gel in the 10 ml bottle presentation are fitted with an OSD (Ophthalmic Squeeze Dispenser) dropper which, through its multi-layer air filter and tip-seal valve system, ensures that the sterility of the product is maintained without preservatives.
